I just started my first blog and this is my first entry! I am a single stay at home mom, I named my blog miracles really do happen and I plan to share some of my miracles and maybe some of others. One of my many miracles is my little boy who was born 12-31-03. Doctors told us we wouldnt have a child, we had miscarried twice. Then was unable to get pregnant no matter what we tried.

I then found out in 2000 that I was a diabetic, I controlled it with diet for awhile and then had to start on meds. One of the meds I was taking was glucophage, my brother told me that some doctors were using that for fertility treatments. After being on it for awhile they doubled my dose. I was also seeing a chiropractor who was working on my lower back more than usual, because he knew we really wanted a baby. A month after my dose of glucophage was doubled I was pregnant!

We were ecstatic, but worried because of my past history of miscarriage. and I was 39 years old. We went to the first ultra sound and left in tears because we heard a heart beat for the first time out of 3 pregnancies. About 4 months along they sent me for an ultra sound with a pediatric cardiologist, because of my diabetes the baby had a chance of heart defect. A heart defect was found, but they couldnt tell how serious because the baby wouldnt turn over~ he was showing his attitude!

We went back 3 weeks later for another ultra sound. The night before our church was in revival, the evangelist laid hands on me as the Bible instructs, he prayed for healing and that God would give us a testimony. The next day we went for the ultra sound found out it was a boy, and that there was NO heart defect. That baby was healed, all we could do was cry!
